To setup and connect your iBeacon, please follow these steps:

You now have the opportunity to create a personal time schedule for when you iBeacon should automatically register your trips.
When the setup is complete, you must place your iBeacon visibly in your car. This way you ensure that the connection is not blocked from objects.
Afterwards you are ready to go out and use the automatic start-stop feature
To start a trip, you will have to enter your car with your phone. When the Mileage Book app gets a signal from the iBeacon, the app is going to start the trip.
In order for you to stop a trip, you will have to leave your car, with your phone. When the connection between the Mileage Book app and iBeacon is disconnected, your trip will stop.
(Note: you will have to be minimum 5 meters away from the iBeacon, with your phone, in order for the trip to stop)
When the trip has ended, the trip will show up in the ''Unprocessed'' tab, where you will have to fill out the purpose of the trip and then you will have to either swipe the trip to the right to confirm the trip or swipe the trip left to delete it.
Note: You cannot find the iBeacon in the phones bluetooth connections. To see if you have connected the Mileage Book app and iBeacon, you will have to follow these steps:
- Open the Mileage Book app
- Select More
- Go to Settings
- Select Automatic start-stop
- Check to see if it says ''Connected'' below the iBeacon image.
Note:
Please note that the iBeacon feature is only available on iPhone and iPad if you subscribe to our PRO + subscription.
It is only Mileage Book iBeacon works with the Mileage Book app.
