Do you experience that more trips are shown in your Mileage Book app than you can see when you log in to your Mileage book via web? The reason for this can be due to one of the reasons below.
1. Synchronization failure
When you record your driving trips with your phone, they will initially be saved on the phone or on your tracker, after which they will be synchronized every 2 hours and saved on our server. When your trips are saved on our server, they will be displayed on your account via www.mileagebook.dk
If you unexpectedly experience errors with synchronization, you can try to have the app synchronize for you. Here's how you do it:
- Open the Mileage Book app
- Select More
- Select Settings
- Select Server
- Tap Sync
If your app fails, you will be greeted here by an error message and the option to press "SEND". If you press send, an error report will be sent to Mileage Book support, who will take care of it as soon as possible and get back to you with assistance.
2. Multiple cars
If you have several cars created in Mileage Book, you may find that trips are under the wrong car or the app is set to show trips for the wrong car. You therefore simply have to change your view.
App - You find and switch between your cars at the top of the 'Book' tab. There you will be able to see a car brand and if you press this, you will get a list of your cars.
Website - You find and switch between your cars at the top of the 'Drive' tab.
3. Multiple user logins created
If 2 different users have been created, and you are logged in as user 1 on the phone and user 2 on the web, you will also experience that there are more trips in one place than in the other.
You can always check which user you are logged in with:
App - select More > Settings > Server > At the top you will see login mail
Web - select User setup > User profile > Under email you will see login email
4. Date range filtering
It is important that you set the period interval correctly, as only trips for the period you choose will be displayed. If you cannot find your trips, it may be because you have set a filter in the date range.
Web - Here you mustnavigate to the Mileage log tab. At the top, you would find a From and To date that you must define. If you e.g. set it to 01-01-2023 to 31-07-2023, then you will only see data for this period. It will remember the selected date range to next time you log in.
App - Here you must be in the 'Book' tab. In the app you will see one month at a time and you can either swipe right or left or use the arrows at the top to switch between the months.
