There are 3 different ways to record your journeys in the Mileage Book.
1. Automatic registration with GPS tracker:
Automatic registration with the Mileage Book GPS tracker works so that you are sent a GPS tracker that you plot in your car's OBD connector. Mileage Book then makes sure to add addresses in the to/from field, as well as note the start/stop time and draw the route on a map.
You can read more about the Mileage Book GPS tracker and how the recorded journeys are processed.
3. Manual start/stop registration: Manual trip recording works by simply opening the Mileage Book app and pressing start when you start a business trip and stop when you arrive at your destination. Mileage Book then makes sure to add addresses in the to/from field, as well as note the start/stop time and draw the route on a map. After that, enter the purpose of the drive and press save. |
4. Manually entered trips:
If it should happen that you do not register your trips using the other three methods, you can always enter the trips manually both from the app, but also by logging into your account via our website.
You simply enter the to/from address and Mileage Book under the menu item driving book, which then calculates the distance between the two addresses. Finally, you enter the date and purpose and press save.
