As an employee, you must send your mileage log for approval to the approver that has been given - If this is not done at the predetermined times which is something that the administrator has stated, no compensation can be paid to the employee.
As an employee, you receive a notification email from Mileage Book when it's time to send your mileage log for approval - The timing of this email is set by your administrator.
When you as an employee have to send your driving accounts for approval, this can be done via. Mileage Book app or via. Mileage Book website.
Through the Mileage Book app:
In the app you send your mileage logs to approval as follows:
- Select Approval at the bottom of the app
- Enter a TO date
(All your trips up to this date will now be sent for approval - If you have previously sent a mileage log for approval, all trips that have not been sent for approval before and up to the specified date will be sent for approval)
- When the TO date is set, simply press "SEND" and the mileage log will now be sent for approval.
Through Mileage Book website:
On the Mileage Book website you send your mileage log for approval as follows:
- Select Mileage log on the left side
- Select My Mileage logs
- Enter a TO date
(All your trips up to this date will now be sent for approval - If you have previously sent a mileage log for approval, all trips that have not been sent for approval before and up to the specified date will be sent for approval)
- When TO data is set, simply press "SEND" and the mileage log will now be sent for approval.
On the Mileage Book website you also have the opportunity to view all previously submitted mileage logs - This overview can be found just below the "Send for approval" section
