Mileage Books automatic start-stop feature ensures that all trips are registered in Mileage Book, without having to pull the phone up at anytime doing the registration of a trip.
- If you use an iPhone, you must connect the Mileage Book app with an iBeacon that we send out to the users
(Note: Only iBeacon shipped from Mileage Book can connect to Mileage Book app)
- If you are using Android you must connect the Mileage Book app with a bluetooth connection in the car in which you use.
When connecting your Mileage Book app to an iBeacon or a bluetooth connection in your car, you have to follow the instructions below:
iPhone:
How do i setup my iBeacon? (iPhone)
Android:
How do i setup my Mileage Book app with a bluetooth connection? (Android)
Unprocessed trips:
When you register your trips using automatic start-stop, those trips are placed in the "unprocessed" tab and from here it is important that you get these trips completed, which include adding a purpose (and in some cases a project no. ) and either swipe them to the right to finish them or swipe them to the left to delete them in the app (see photo) - You can also do this from the Mileage Book website and here you just press "process" after you has added the required information
