Under User setup > User profile, you can customize all your details for you as a user. Several of the fields simply deal with how we can contact you if there is something we should inform you about. However, you also have the option to adapt your home address, your password or ensure that your vehicle's kilometers when you start using Mileage Book are correct before you calculate the 60 day rule.
Change home address
In the user profile section, it is possible to customize the home address. Here you must enter the address with anser as your permanent residence. If you have moved to a new address, this is also where you must correct your address. When you enter a new address, it is immediately created as a new place under "my places" categorized as a home address. At the same time, the address of the old residence under "my places" will be deactivated until the date you have now set your new address.
Change email
In order to ensure app settings and web account settings are always syncronized with Mileage Book, it is required to contact support@mileagebook.com in order change the user email. Once support starts the change it will take effect within 10 minutes and you will then have to log in to your Mileage Book account via app and web again.
Change password
To change your password, please follow these steps:
- Log in to the Mileage Book website
- Select User Setup
- Select User Profile
- Click Change password
- Here you first enter your old password and then your new password.
- Then click on Confirm
The password will now be changed and ready for use.
ATTENTION! If you are an employee of a company that uses SSO, you cannot change your password in Mileage Book. This must be changed in the SSO system.
Distance driven and year
In the user setup, it may also be possible, depending on the subscription, to enter a distance driven up to a given year. This is relevant in relation to reimbursement and kilometer calculation for a given year. In the picture above, 100,000km have been entered for 2024. This means that the system now knows that when it has to calculate compensation for 2024, it must include the 100,000 kilometres.
