What are employee tags?
An employee tag is used to identify which employee is driving a vehicle. The tag can be an RFID ID card or a Bluetooth beacon of the type iBeacon or Eddystone. When a tag is assigned to an employee, the trip is automatically registered to that employee when the tag is read in the vehicle.
Employee tags can be managed manually in Mileage Book or through an integration with an external system, such as SAP or Buanco.
Each tag can only be assigned to one employee at a time.
Find employee tags
Go to System setup > Fleet management > Employee tags.
The Employee tag page shows an overview of all tags and the employees they are assigned to.
