Automatic Temperature Monitoring
We offer automatic collection of temperature data through integration with ThermIT.
How it works
- Mileage Book automatically retrieves temperature data from ThermIT
- Temperature is recorded every 10 minutes
- Data is collected from equipment registered in ThermIT
- New equipment can be automatically created in Mileage Book if it exists in ThermIT
Setup
- The feature is an add-on that is enabled on your Mileage Book account
- Once activated, an administrator can log in and configure the integration
Fill in the following fields
- Category: Select which category ThermIT equipment should be assigned to (e.g. temperature sensors)
- Equipment type: Select the relevant type (e.g. electronics)
- Routes: Choose whether ThermIT area names should be used as routes
- Username and password: Enter your ThermIT login credentials
- Click "Create again" to establish the connection
- Configure your Notification Center settings under:
System setup > Fleet management > Notification Center / Settings
Important
- The integration is one-way: from ThermIT to Mileage Book
- Equipment created in Mileage Book will not be created in ThermIT
- Make sure to configure notifications in the Notification Center
Troubleshooting
- Connection not established: Verify that your ThermIT username and password are correct
- No temperature data: Ensure there is active equipment in ThermIT
- Missing equipment in Mileage Book: Check that the equipment exists in ThermIT (not only in Mileage Book)
- No notifications received: Verify your Notification Center settings
