What does Utilization show?
Utilization shows how much your assets are used in a period, and how much they stand still. This helps you find assets that are rarely used, so you can distribute them better or reduce the number.
1. Select Asset in the menu on the left.
2. Click Utilization.
How to use the page
1. Select the period with From date and To date. The period in hours is calculated automatically.
2. Select an employee if needed.
3. Filter by asset and department in the columns.
4. Click the arrow next to an asset to see the individual periods in which it was used.
Columns
- Asset and Department.
- Moving (distance): how far the asset has moved.
- Moving (time): how long the asset has been moving.
- Active Time: the time the asset spends performing its function.
- Parked (engine off): how long the asset has not been in use.
- Engine ignition: how long the engine has been on.
- Utilization rate: engine ignition divided by the length of the period times 100.
A low utilization rate means the asset stands still most of the time.
