How Mileage Book stores your data
Mileage Book uses Microsoft Azures to save and store your trips in our system. If you're offline, your trips will be saved on your mobile device until you're online again, and your trips will be synced to our server. Note. if you have some trips, which haven't been synchronized to the Mileage Book server, then you must not delete your Mileage Book app from your phone, since you will lose these trips.
How Mileage Book records your trip
Mileage Book uses several parameters to determine your position and route. Depending on your mobile device and what services are available, our system uses a combination of mobile, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth signals. If you do not have a GPS connection, your mobile device can determine your location via publicly available WiFi signals and cell towers.
How Milage Book processes your data
All the driving you do in your driving record is yours and only yours to view and manage. If you are an employee of a larger company and you choose to actively create a driving account and submit it for approval, you thereby consent to the company being able to see your processed trips for the driving period in question.
