If you have set up an integration between Mileage Book and a payroll or accounting system, you may need to transfer trips that were created before the original integration date. This can be managed by adjusting the integration start date.
It is important to note that integrations related to trips and driven kilometres are always one-directional.
Important information about data direction
When it comes to trips and driven kilometres, data can only be sent FROM Mileage Book and TO the connected payroll or accounting system.
It is not possible to send or retrieve trips or driven kilometres FROM the payroll or accounting system INTO Mileage Book, regardless of integration type or time period.
How to change the integration start date
- Log in to Mileage Book via www.mileagebook.dk
- Go to System configuration
- Select Integration
- Locate your payroll or accounting system in the list
- Review the Start date field
The start date defines the date from which Mileage Book starts sending data to the integration.
Transferring missing trips
If you change the start date to an earlier date, you must re-transfer the relevant reports. Once this is done, Mileage Book will send the missing trips and driven kilometres to the integration.
This applies strictly to data being sent FROM Mileage Book.
