Do you use Mileage Book TIME and Projects – possibly together with recorded mileage?
With Mileage Book Resource Allocation, you can get a complete overview of how many employees and hours are being recorded on the different projects in your organization.
Role/Access Required

• Access to the TIME product
Allow Time Registration on Projects
Navigation: System setup → Time recording → Activities
When you create an activity of the type Work, you can enable the “Show project” option. When this is enabled, the user will have the option to select a project when recording time for that activity. There is also an additional checkbox at the bottom of the setup where you can make the project field required. If this is checked, users must select a project in order to record time for the activity. |
Project Time Overview
Navigation: System setup → Projects
All recorded hours are automatically summed up for each project.
The total time spent can be viewed at any time on the project page.
When creating or editing a project, you can specify which employees should be assigned to the project and how many hours are estimated for the project’s total duration. The total recorded time is continuously updated and displayed next to the estimated hours, allowing you to monitor the difference between estimated and actual time spent. You can also edit the list of employees assigned to a project at any time. |
