If you have used Mileage Book on the web lately, you may have noticed that some pages look a little different than others. This is entirely intentional.
Since March 2025, we have been working on a thorough modernization of Mileage Book. In short, we are rebuilding a large part of the web platform so that it is faster, more stable and easier to develop further in the future.
It is a bit like roadworks on the motorway.
When there is a reconstruction, there are temporary speed restrictions, roadblocks and a little extra waiting time. It is never the most fun as a driver. In return, you get more lanes, better asphalt and a more comfortable drive when the work is finished.
That is also the case with us right now.
During the transition period, you may experience:
- That some pages have the classic dark blue design, while others have the new light blue design.
- That there may be a little extra waiting time on certain pages when switching between old and new. In some cases, loading may take up to a few seconds longer than usual.
- That on selected pages we offer the option to switch between the new and classic versions yourself, if you prefer one or experience something that does not work as expected.
We know that this does not always provide the most elegant experience. Therefore, we would like to thank you for your patience.
The work is still in full swing, and we expect to have the majority of the transition completed during the autumn.
The goal is a modern platform that provides a better user experience in everyday life and a stronger foundation for the improvements and features we want to deliver in the coming years.
