How to find roles
With roles you decide what specific employees may see and do in fleet management. This can for example be which vehicles and fields they have access to, and which menu items they see on the left side.
Go to System setup > Fleet management and click Go to page under Roles. See Fleet - Settings overview. Your roles are listed on the left.
Create a role
1. Click Create.
2. Enter the name of the role under the Role tab.
3. Click Add under Departments and select the departments from which the role has access rights to vehicles and assets.
4. Click Add under Employees and select the employees who should have the role.
5. Set the rights under the tabs Vehicle, Assets, Sidemenu and Reports.
6. Click Save.
You can also assign a role when you create or edit an employee. See Fleet - Users in fleet management. Under Log you can see previous changes to the role.
