About Temporary Home
A temporary home is often used in connection with the 60 day rule and when the workplace is further away than what is desired to drive to every single day. In that case, you can instead create a temporary home in the Mileage Book which the system will then use to calculate 60 day counts.
Once you have it set up in the Mileage Book, the system will calculate everything correctly for you.
Example of use of temporary home:
Residence is in Varde, you drive to Roskilde on Sundays where there is a construction site 10 km away. Then you work every day of the week on the construction site and drive every day to your temporary home in Roskilde. When the week comes to an end, you drive directly home to Varde from the construction site. Since the temporary home is in Roskilde, it will be seen by the system as a stop on the road that is part of a count. It is therefore important to record trips between construction site and temporary home to get the correct count.
