Available to subscription: Fleet Management (municipalities)
User role: Administrator
What is the FKI integration?
With the integration to FKI (Fælleskommunal Infrastruktur, the Danish common municipal infrastructure), the municipality's employees can log in to Mileage Book with their FKI login. It may sound technical, but Mileage Book helps you through the entire setup.
What the integration does
- When a user logs in, the user's information is retrieved from FK Organisation, and the user is created in Mileage Book.
- The user's permissions in Mileage Book are controlled by the job function roles you create.
- If a user is deactivated in FK Organisation, Mileage Book automatically deactivates the user every night.
How the implementation works
1. Service agreement
Let Mileage Book know that you want to connect to FKI. Mileage Book then requests a service agreement in the service module SF1500 Organisation. The agreement must be approved before the process can start.
2. Job function roles and user system roles
Define which job function roles are needed and what they should be able to do in Mileage Book. Each job function role must at least contain the user system role Base.Role, either with or without data restriction.
If a user needs both administrator and fleet permissions, the job function role must contain the user system roles Administrator and Fleetmanager together with Base.Role. Users can also be created in other ways. Talk to Mileage Book about what suits you best.
3. Test phase
While the job function roles are being set up, you can test the integration with one or more test users. Let Mileage Book know if you would like this.
4. Activation
When all job function roles are in place, let Mileage Book know. We activate the access control, and users can start logging in.
Mileage Book is available throughout the entire process.
