The system parameters consist of adjustable parameters that allow adding or removing functionality. The parameters consist of unit of measurement, odometer, decimals, trip types, time and ID field.
- Unit of measurement: Here you can choose the unit of measurement to be used in your Mileage book account ((kilometres/miles).
- Odometer: By activating the odometer, an entry of the car's odometer value will be required when starting a drive. The odometer value will be shown on the trips driven both on the website and in the app, as well as on the completed mileage log. The mileage must, among other things, be included in the mileage log account as documentation for SKAT, in order to meet the requirements for receiving mileage deductions.
- Decimals: If this function is activated, decimals are added to the odometer and the distance of the journeys made, as well as to the completed mileage log account. This can be relevant if, for example, you want a more accurate overview of the distance driven.
- Trip type: If you need to be able to categorize your trips, trip types can be used. It allows to divide trips into two categories: Business and Private. If you choose to turn off trip types, all trips will be seen as business trips.
- Time: By activating time, the start and end time for a trip will be registered and will subsequently appear in each individual trip.
- ID field: By putting a tick in this box, you will be able to add which project the trip goes to. This can be of help if you have changing work locations.
