What does Utilization show?
Utilization shows how much your fleet vehicles are used in a period, and how much they stand still. The page helps you find vehicles that are rarely used, so you can move them between departments or reduce the number of vehicles.
1. Select Fleet vehicles in the menu on the left.
2. Click Utilization.
How to use the page
1. Select the period with From date and To date. The period in hours is calculated automatically.
2. Filter by department and vehicle in the columns if needed.
3. Sort by Utilization rate, for example, to see the least used vehicles at the top.
Columns
- Vehicle and Department.
- Parked (engine off): how many hours the vehicle has been standing still.
- Mileage: kilometers driven in the period.
- Driving time: how many hours the vehicle has been driving.
- Utilization rate: how large a share of the period the vehicle has been in use.
The utilization rate is calculated as driving time divided by the length of the period times 100. A low percentage means the vehicle stands still most of the time.
