State of Charge (SoC)
State of Charge (SoC) indicates the charge level of the vehicle’s high-voltage battery, which is used for propulsion in electric and hybrid vehicles.
SoC is displayed as a percentage from 0–100% and is based on data read directly from the vehicle by the tracking device.
Requirements for displaying SoC
The following requirements must be met:
- The vehicle supports battery data reading
- The tracker is correctly set up and configured in Mileage Book
- The GPS device is a supported model
Supported GPS devices:
- FMM130
- FMM150
- FMM003
- FMM230
- FMM001
Contact Mileage Book if you are unsure whether your GPS devices and/or vehicles support SoC.
Where SoC is displayed
SoC is displayed in the following places:
- On the Map page under Current location
- In the Fleet app up to 30 minutes before a booking starts, if booking is used in Mileage Book
You can recognise it by a battery icon showing the current level.
- A battery icon indicates the charge level
- A lightning icon indicates that the vehicle is charging at the time of registration
12-volt battery voltage
If you are looking for the latest recorded battery voltage of the 12-volt battery, you can navigate to:
