Below are some of the most frequently seen messages in the management center of your fleet.
Tracker removed
When you receive a message that the tracker has been removed, it means that the device that is installed has lost its external power source from the car/equipment. This may be because it has been physically removed from the car/equipment or that the device is loose.
Tracker does not call in - There is no signal from a tracking device
There is no longer SIM card coverage. The tracker has not been able to send its trips to the Mileage Book server and there is no longer a connection to the cloud. This can happen if the car/equipment has been driven into a parking garage, has driven in an area with poor signal, is in a closed metal box that can block the signal, has crossed a border and has subsequently been trapped in the foreign network and has not returned to a Danish network.
A tracking device is active without being associated with a vehicle or equipment
Trips are registered on a tracker that is not paired with a car or equipment. So the tracker does not know where to send its trips and where the trips should be registered. The fleet administrator must therefore match the device and car with each other in the system. This can be done either on the vehicle's master data or on the tracking device's details.
A vehicle is deregistered with a GPS tracker installed
The car/equipment has been deregistered from the motor registry but still has a device registered to it. It is therefore important to ensure that the device is physically removed from the car/equipment so that you are not potentially billed for a lost device and so that you continue to have your tracker for a future new car/equipment.
When vehicles or equipment have moved while they are associated with a specific department
If a car is associated with a department that has been set up as an "inactive" department for vehicles, you can get a message via the handling center if the car/equipment actually starts moving despite being part of this department.
A tracking device's internal battery has a voltage (volts) below the allowed limit value
It is possible to set a limit value for how little battery voltage the tracker can have. It could be 9 volts, for example. When the device then comes without that value, it generates a message in the handling center. Here you have to look at the car's power source and whether the car's battery is as expected.
