This article applies to both the Kørebog app and the Mileage Book Business app. Vehicles and places look the same in the two apps.
Your vehicles and places are used when you register trips. You find them under "More", "Settings" and the "Mileage" tab.
My vehicles
This is where you see the vehicles you can choose when you register a trip.
In the Mileage Book Business app, each user has one vehicle, and it is not possible to get more. In the Kørebog app, you can create up to two vehicles yourself:
- Tap "My vehicles", and tap "Create" in the top right corner.
- Fill in the name of the vehicle and the licence plate.
- Tap "Save".
To edit a vehicle, tap it in the list, change the name or licence plate, and tap "Save".
Have you got a new car?
A vehicle cannot be deleted. If you get a new car, we recommend that you rename your vehicle and change the licence plate. The tax rules do not require you to show which kilometres were driven in which car, and your mileage book is easier to keep track of.
If you use the Kørebog app and would rather keep the cars separate, you can create the new car as an extra vehicle as long as you have fewer than two. If you already have two vehicles, Support can deactivate a vehicle and its mileage book, so that you get a new, empty vehicle instead. Make a data export of your mileage book before you contact Support.
Places
|
A place is an address you often drive to. Once you have created a place, you can choose it when you enter an address on a trip, and the mileage book recognises when you are at or near the place. There are three types of places:
The list shows the type of each place. The star shows whether the place is a favourite. Favourites are always shown at the top of the list. |
Create a place
- Tap "Places", and tap "+".
- Choose the type: "Place", "Temporary home" or "Home".
- Fill in the name of the place.
- Tap "Address", enter the address, and change the radius if needed. Tap "OK".
- If you have chosen "Home", enter the date from which the address applies.
- Tick "Favorite" if you want to.
- Tap "Save".
The radius is how large an area around the address the place covers on the map. It is 200 metres by default. On places you have created yourself, you can make it larger or smaller.
If you move, create your new home and enter the date from which it applies.
Places affect the count under the 60-day rule. To create places on the web, see How do I setup Places?
