About approval settings
As an administrator on an Enterprise, Business or Starter solution, you can set up a time limit on both the submission of trips for approval and/or the option to create manually entered trips back in time.
With a time limit on the account, you ensure that employees meet deadlines for submissions and that accountants do not have to clean up old logs from time to time due to employee oversights.
How to set it up
- Log in to your user via www.mileagebook.dk
- Select System Setup > Select Authentication > Select Authentication Settings
Select a date for the trailing edge
With the first field "Date", it is possible to specify a date from which employees cannot create any trips in the Mileage Book. This will typically be a start-up date in Mileage Book, thus separating registrations from an old system from the Mileage Book and thereby avoiding potentially duplicate trip registrations.
Select a Controller option
Choose a dynamic repeating option
In the third field, it is possible to choose a dynamic setting for how far back employees must be able to create trips. There are 4 options here. Fill in what you want in the Type field and finish by pressing Save.
- No limit
- Number of days from today's date (e.g. 360 days left in time)
- Number of months from today's date (e.g. 12 months)
- Number of days from a cut-off date (e.g. 3 days before the 15th of each month)
Transfer approval
If it should be possible for Approvers in the company to hand over their accounts to other approvers, then it is simply a matter of ticking the setting here, after which approvers can approve for each other.
