How to setup Action center notifications
You have to define the settings for the Action center before you can receive any notifications in the dashboard. To do this, simply go to System Setup > Fleet Mangement > Settings or Notifications
The settings for the Action Center can be found at the bottom of the page.
How it looks once setup
Here you have various handlings that can be switched on. When the settings are set to 'Yes', notifications will come into the Management Center from the settings that are switched on. An example of this could be a GPS tracker being taken out of a vehicle. There will then be a notification about this in the Handling Centre.
- Here you can sort by departments, vehicles, whether the notification has been handled or not and sort by a specific message type.
- Some of the notifications that come in will be automatically resolved by the system, like the top 5 in the picture.
- Other notifications will be ready to be processed if you press "Show", like the middle 5 notifications in the picture.
- Once they have been processed, they will appear with a handling date set by the system, a name of the person who handled the notification and the associated resolution note written by the person.
How to use your Action center
It is important that when you see a message in the actioncenter that you must first carry out your task/correction in the system based on the message, and then subsequently handle your notification/message as resolved.
If done in the reverse order, you will find that the message changes status back to "not handled (no)". An example of this could be that a unit is active without a vehicle attached. If you write in the solution note 'device removed from vehicle' without having done so first, then the message is not handled in practice and the device will continue to call the Mileage Book server and handling center, the message will still appear as not processed, even if there is a solution note and handling date + handled by on the message.
