Have you received additional GPS devices, or do you need to assign a GPS device to a new employee?
Log in to your Mileage Book account via your browser and navigate to:
System Configuration > Tracking Devices
Note: Only system administrators have permission to edit tracking device settings.
Here, you can click the pencil icon on the far right of each device to select which employee should be assigned to the specific GPS device.
Click on the grey filters to set up a search criterion for something specific. You can also use the small funnel icons in the light blue header bar.
Fields and Overview
IMEI
Unique GPS device ID. Use the last 4 digits to quickly identify which device it is.
Model
Battery or OBD.
Show on live map
Yes or no.
Store coordinates
Yes or no. If set to no, the live map will not be available.
Disable disconnected notification
Yes or no.
Removed
Indicates whether the GPS device is currently removed from the vehicle.
Last seen
Timestamp of when the GPS device last communicated with the Mileage Book server.
Battery level
Battery level reported from the vehicle. Standard is 12V.
Location icon
Shows where the GPS device is currently located.
Pencil icon
Edit GPS device details and assign an employee.
Clock icon
View the event log for the GPS device.
